Research Assistant at the Department of Pathology University of Cambridge
Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant in the laboratory of Dr Stephen Graham at the Department of Pathology to join a research project investigating the molecular basis of intracellular membrane trafficking and its role in viral maturation (http://www.path.cam.ac.uk/research/investigators/graham/)
Applicants must have an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in Biochemistry or a related subject with a strong record of academic achievement. Experience with protein chemistry and molecular biology including recombinant DNA technology is desirable. Previous experience in mammalian cell culture would be an advantage. The position will best suit a candidate with the above experience; however, highly motivated recent graduates with a strong academic record from leading universities will also be considered.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available from 1st October 2012 for 5 years in the first instance.
