ATTOCK – State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad has said that govt is giving due priority to promote livestock and for the purpose revolutionary steps are being taken.
He said this during a ceremony organized by Livestock Department on the other day where keys of motorbikes were handed over to 114 veterinary assistants.
On the occasion District Officer Livestock Attock Muhammad Yameen was also present. State Minister said that Pakistan is now among the top producers of milk and livestock. He said halal meat produced by Pakistan is on high demand abroad specially in gulf countries.
He said , Livestock is back bone of any country and Punjab government under leadership of Mian Shahbaz Sharif is giving top priority and its ample proof is that across Punjab 4,500 motorbikes have been given to veterinary assistants.
He also emphasized upon the veterinary assistants to provide better services to promote livestock.
